About the Role
Seeking a dedicated, self-starter for an entry-level management position to assist the Residence Manager in overseeing a residential program for individuals with developmental disabilities. This role involves functioning as the Manager in their absence, training, supervising, and evaluating direct support professionals, and ensuring the overall quality of care and compliance with regulatory requirements.
Responsibilities
- Assist Residence Manager in performing duties related to oversight of assigned residential program.
- Function as Manager in Manager's absence.
- Train, supervise, and evaluate all direct support professionals.
- Ensure staff are trained with necessary skills for appropriate care and support.
- Ensure families and advocates are informed of individual's condition and progress.
- Monitor medication administration for accuracy.
- Ensure implementation of goals and plans.
- Ensure the overall quality of the residence's appearance.
- Ensure the program is in compliance with all regulatory requirements.
- Perform direct support duties in the absence of staff.
Requirements
- Must have a valid and clean NYS Driver License.
