About the Role
As the UKI Value & Promotional Strategy Manager, you will translate central initiatives and promotions into high-impact UKI campaigns. You will own the UKI promotional calendar, define value strategies for customers and merchants, and localize the global strategy for UKI. Reporting to the Senior Marketing Manager, you will optimize promotional investments to drive business growth. This is a hybrid role requiring 3 days a week in our London office. You will use data-driven insights, past performance, and market trends to identify growth opportunities and improve ROI through experimentation, bridging the gap between commercial objectives and customer experience.
Responsibilities
- End-to-end ownership of UKI local promotions and merchant offers.
- Partner with central functions to identify market needs and partner requirements, defining strategy and implementation.
- Own the team’s reporting cycle, delivering weekly and monthly performance analysis and campaigns.
- Identify emerging trends and data-driven optimization areas to foster continuous improvement.
- Champion customer and partner needs in the promotional space, collaborating with commercial, finance, value & promotions, and partner-facing teams.
- Partner with Insights and Data Science teams to develop customer needs understanding and research deployment.
- Adapt global strategies for the UKI market, embedding regional priorities and merchant needs into business plans.
- Define and implement promo strategies to deliver on objectives and KPIs, ensuring best-in-class execution.
- Lead on trade-offs and requests based on importance, urgency, and impact.
- Align promotional plans between central and local marketing teams to ensure proper technical, reporting, and targeting foundations.
- Define the UKI customer and merchant promotional strategy, driving high-value discount, vouchering, and offer initiatives.
- Pitch and sell strategic promotional programs to key commercial stakeholders to secure buy-in and maximum partner engagement.
- Monitor competitor trends and activity to refine regional market strategies.
- Own the Go To Market strategy and sell-in for UKI promotions.
Requirements
- 3-4 years of experience in a Marketing or Commercial role, with mandatory experience in value/promotional campaigns.
- Experience presenting ideas and recommendations to senior leadership to gain buy-in.
- Analytical and commercial mindset with the ability to interpret data for consumer-led marketing strategy.
- Comfortable with analytical tools like Excel.
- Strong interpersonal skills to manage multiple cross-departmental stakeholders.
- Confident communicating at all levels.
- Ability to adapt and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
- Strong problem-solving skills and a proactive approach to identifying improvement opportunities.
- Self-starter attitude, able to thrive in a fast-paced, matrixed organization with constant change.
- Proven track record in delivering results quickly and efficiently.
