About the Role
The Temerty Faculty of Medicine at the University of Toronto and Unity Health Toronto – St. Michael’s Hospital are seeking internal applications for the Arrell Chair in Precision Critical Care Medicine. This is a five-year, joint University of Toronto and St. Michael’s Hospital endowed chair.
Responsibilities
- Conduct research in Critical Care with an internationally recognized program.
- Focus research on mechanical ventilation physiology and platform clinical trial expertise and design.
- Incorporate Equity, Diversity and Inclusion principles into their research program.
Requirements
- Must currently hold a full-time academic appointment at the rank of Associate Professor or Professor.
- Must hold or have accepted and signed a Scientist appointment letter of offer at Unity Health Toronto – St. Michael’s Hospital.
- Submit a curriculum vitae.
- Submit a 3-page outline of their proposed academic program during the next 5 years.
- Submit details outlining research productivity, training activities and academic prominence.
- Provide contact information for 3 referees.
