About the Role

The Janitor at Bren-Tronics, part of EnerSys and a manufacturer of advanced power solutions, is responsible for maintaining a clean facility to create a comfortable and safe work environment.

Responsibilities

  • Clean bathrooms daily including toilets and floors, and refill supplies.
  • Place cleaning supplies back in their designated area.
  • Sweep floors and dust each department daily.
  • Clean kitchen areas including tables and remove expired and leftover trash from the refrigerator.
  • Sweep and mop hallways, entrance, and cafeteria areas daily.
  • Vacuum offices weekly and clean walls and vent grids.
  • Dispose of all garbage from waste baskets in each department.
  • Remove stains from surfaces such as walls, floors, and rugs using cleaning solutions.
  • Pick up garbage and debris from the outside parking lot.
  • Perform other tasks as assigned.

Requirements

  • Must be able to lift 25 pounds/11.5 kilos on occasions.
  • Must be able to frequently bend, twist, reach, stoop, kneel, or crouch.
  • Must be able to stand for long periods of time.
  • Certain positions require access to information or technology subject to ITAR. Candidates must be a 'U.S. Person' under ITAR or otherwise comply with ITAR requirements.

Salary/Compensations

  • $18.00-$20.50
