About the Role
Support the delivery of net new sales from discretionary wealth managers, family offices, endowments, and UK-based teams of Global Financial Institutions. Engage with key decision-makers to position tailored, solutions-led propositions, grow assets under management, uncover new business opportunities, and strengthen existing relationships. Foster a positive market perception and enhance reputation through professional conduct. Collaborate with Investments, the broader UK wealth team, and wider Sales colleagues. Maintain accurate systems and client records, providing client insights to inform strategy.
Responsibilities
- Support the delivery of regional new business and AUM growth targets by building strong relationships with discretionary wealth managers, family offices, endowments and UK based GFI’s.
- Identify opportunities to initiate new client relationships and grow, broaden and deepen existing ones across the team.
- Act as liaison between the sales teams and other areas of Aviva Investors, coordinating responses to prospective client requests.
- Assist with lead generation and building a pipeline of new business opportunities through client research and tools such as Linkedin, Fundpath, and Factfind.
- Ensure accurate record maintenance in CRM systems so that activity, pipeline, and expected revenues and progress are accurately reflected.
- Support the planning and delivery of client events, including post-event engagement and reporting.
- Monitor prospective client activity and providing regular updates and insights to the sales team.
- Assist with client follow ups after meetings, and with the creation and distribution of marketing campaigns.
- Act as a 'Certified' individual under the Financial Conduct Authority / Prudential Regulation Authority’s Senior Managers and Certification Regime (SMCR).
Requirements
- Understanding of the UK discretionary wealth landscape, including discretionary fund management and private banking.
- Ability to build effective internal relationships across Aviva Investors to deliver client solutions.
- Solid understanding of liquid markets and investment products.
- Proficient user of lead generation and sales management tools, notably Salesforce and Fundpath.
- Strong PowerPoint, Excel, written and verbal communication skills.
- Regulatory background checks will be completed.
- Annual checks to ensure 'fit and proper' and competent to carry out the role.
