About the Role
Cleveland Clinic London is seeking a Clinical Nurse Specialist – Tissue Viability to join their Advanced Practice team. This role involves providing clinical expertise, promoting patient health and wellbeing, coordinating care, and advising patients on clinical and practical issues related to their condition. The CNS will work closely with Consultants to develop the service, embed standards of care, and implement ongoing training using evidence-based methodologies.
Responsibilities
- Delivers evidence-based individualised and personalised care through holistic needs assessment, care planning, and evaluation.
- Acts as an autonomous practitioner for a clinical caseload, coordinating care and providing ongoing support for patients and caregivers.
- Leads the development, management, and promotion of the service, ensuring high-quality, person-centred care.
- Participates in multi-disciplinary and senior management team meetings as a patient advocate.
- Leads on the development and delivery of education, training, and competency for caregivers.
Requirements
- Minimum two years working as a Tissue Viability Nurse or Plastics Clinical Nurse Specialist with experience in managing complex wounds within an Acute Hospital setting.
- Excellent presentation and training skills with a track record of delivering clinical training courses.
