About the Role

Join CIBC’s Private Wealth Technology team as a Business Systems Consultant (BSC). You will lead complex projects, design strategic solutions aligned with CIBC’s enterprise architecture, and act as a subject matter expert in both business and technology. Collaborate with a diverse team to create innovative, client-focused solutions.

Responsibilities

  • Gather complicated business requirements and facilitate solution design discussions.
  • Create strong relationships, lead discussions, listen, and ask the right questions to ensure solutions meet requirements.
  • Assemble client-focused solutions that meet business requirements.
  • Prepare and validate solution design documents around scope clarification, solution requirements, and quality assurance.
  • Manage and analyze technology standards to ensure compliance.
  • Participate in ensuring regulatory standards and audits are met.
  • Support end-to-end project implementation as a subject matter expert.
  • Provide guidance to a diverse team of technology and project professionals.
  • Maintain a collaborative work environment and support team members to resolve organizational, operational, and process problems.

Requirements

  • Degree/diploma in Computer Science, Business, and/or a related field.
  • At least 3 years in a BSC role leading projects and designing solutions.
  • Experience with modern tools and technologies.
  • Working knowledge of Structured Query Language (SQL), Alteryx, Tableau, Power BI, Power Automate, SAS, Python, and artificial intelligence and machine learning tools.
