About the Role
Join CIBC’s Private Wealth Technology team as a Business Systems Consultant (BSC). You will lead complex projects, design strategic solutions aligned with CIBC’s enterprise architecture, and act as a subject matter expert in both business and technology. Collaborate with a diverse team to create innovative, client-focused solutions.
Responsibilities
- Gather complicated business requirements and facilitate solution design discussions.
- Create strong relationships, lead discussions, listen, and ask the right questions to ensure solutions meet requirements.
- Assemble client-focused solutions that meet business requirements.
- Prepare and validate solution design documents around scope clarification, solution requirements, and quality assurance.
- Manage and analyze technology standards to ensure compliance.
- Participate in ensuring regulatory standards and audits are met.
- Support end-to-end project implementation as a subject matter expert.
- Provide guidance to a diverse team of technology and project professionals.
- Maintain a collaborative work environment and support team members to resolve organizational, operational, and process problems.
Requirements
- Degree/diploma in Computer Science, Business, and/or a related field.
- At least 3 years in a BSC role leading projects and designing solutions.
- Experience with modern tools and technologies.
- Working knowledge of Structured Query Language (SQL), Alteryx, Tableau, Power BI, Power Automate, SAS, Python, and artificial intelligence and machine learning tools.
