About the Role
Under the direction of the Visual Manager, the Brand Steward Associate (BSA) serves as the ambassador of store presentation standards. The BSA must be client-focused, take initiative to resolve problems, seek out responsibilities, and follow through on all projects and tasks.
Responsibilities
- Serve as an Ambassador of store standards, including merchandise on the sales floor, specific Brand requirements, and SFA Company expectations.
- Support and follow-through on projects, such as large scale relayering throughout the store.
- Work on the selling floor all day, personally maintaining merchandising standards throughout all departments, with a focus on key areas requiring continual attention (e.g., Shoes, Handbags, and Men's Advanced Designer, Sale).
- Support closing routine using the “close to open” philosophy.
- Foster relationships with Style Advisors to partner in floor presentation and maintenance.
- Have a schedule that mirrors Style Advisors to be present when merchandise standards are at the most risk.
- Act as a liaison between operations and selling teams to ensure clients have an elevated shopping experience.
- Inspire others with recommendations, jump in to complete tasks, build trust quickly, and gain cooperation with little disruption.
- Support with fellow Brand Steward Associate trainings.
- Always portray a professional and polished demeanor, demonstrating confidence and a positive attitude.
- Perform ad hoc responsibilities as needed.
Requirements
- 1-2 years relevant experience working in retail or other fast-paced environments.
- Up to date with the latest trends and Company’s presentation standards.
- Strong understanding of Company brand.
- Scheduled working hours will consist of opening, late day, holiday, and weekend shifts.
- Must have availability to be flexible and work within these parameters.
