About the Role

GWLRA is a leader in the commercial and multi-residential real estate industries, focused on creating vibrant, sustainable communities. The Data Reporting Analyst (12-Month Contract) will drive data-informed decision-making across a diverse portfolio of properties, transforming data into meaningful business insights. This role partners with various teams to enhance portfolio performance and support business growth.

Responsibilities

  • Maintain and update the financial consolidation model to produce consolidated financial statements for the property portfolio.
  • Generate weekly, monthly, quarterly, and annual reports on operating and capital results, vacancy and lease trends, pooled-cost expense allocations, and operations resource planning models.
  • Provide insights into financial variances and operating results.
  • Support ad hoc reporting and analysis requests in collaboration with the Manager.
  • Provide data analytics to support business initiatives, result improvements, and strategic decision-making in partnership with Operations and Asset Management teams.
  • Support resource planning models and labor allocations, including variance analysis, with the operations team.
  • Assist the operations and asset management teams with reporting and analysis as needed.
  • Fulfill senior management requests for information and analysis.
  • Communicate and share information through visual dashboard presentations.
  • Allocate pooled expenses to applicable properties in accordance with management agreements with the accounting team.
  • Perform other duties as required.

Requirements

  • 1-3 years of experience in financial modeling and reporting, preferably in real estate.
  • Self-starter with exceptional analytical, data management, financial dashboard modeling, and reporting skills.
  • Advanced knowledge of Excel and intermediate knowledge of Microsoft Power BI.
  • Ability to work with large datasets and perform well under pressure.
  • Accurate and detail-oriented with strong problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to interpret information and present it simply.
  • A collaborative team player with strong initiative and a passion for real estate.
