About the Role

We're looking for a hands-on Lifecycle Marketing Operations Manager to implement and execute impactful lifecycle campaigns (email, SMS, push), streamline processes, and drive operational initiatives forward. You will build smart automations and focus on what truly drives results, working side by side with Product, Engineering, Marketing, Analytics, Sales, and Customer Experience to drive growth across the whole customer journey.

Responsibilities

  • Own campaigns from beginning to end, developing the strategy, creating content, coding, QAing, building the target audience, and launching.
  • Analyze campaign performance and findings post-launch, using insights to iterate on content, targeting, and design for continuous optimization.
  • Code dynamic, personalized campaigns across email, push, and SMS using HTML, CSS, and Liquid, leveraging modular code and API-driven data.
  • Execute multi-channel journeys in Braze by designing, QAing, and optimizing campaigns with Canvases, API triggers, segment filters, Liquid logic, content blocks, and personalization.
  • Write complex personalization logic using advanced Liquid conditions, loops, and filters to parse and render dynamic content from JSON objects.
  • Integrate and troubleshoot APIs by configuring endpoints, testing integrations, and collaborating with engineering to resolve data pipeline or system issues.
  • Monitor and troubleshoot CRM performance, proactively identifying and resolving SMS delivery errors, broken links, or UTM mismatches.
  • Proactively monitor platform health by tracking Braze, Customer.io, and deliverability tools to identify risks or issues affecting CRM performance.
  • Segment and target audiences precisely by defining audiences based on behavioral, demographic, or custom criteria.
  • Collaborate cross-functionally with Product, Engineering, Analytics, Creative, and Marketing teams to align requirements, improve processes, and enhance campaigns.
  • Improve operational workflows by identifying inefficiencies and implementing scalable processes for testing, documentation, link libraries, and reporting standardization.
  • Manage projects end-to-end by overseeing timelines, writing tickets, and planning sprints to ensure smooth campaign execution.

Requirements

  • 3-5 years of experience developing email campaigns with HTML/CSS.
  • Hands-on experience with at least one major ESP (Braze, Customer.io, Iterable, Salesforce Marketing Cloud, etc.).
  • Comfort working directly with Legal/Compliance stakeholders and translating legal requirements into marketing-team practice.
  • Strong data literacy — comfortable in spreadsheets, SQL a plus, and confident building/maintaining reporting dashboards.
  • Excellent organizational instincts, eagerly applied to marketing operations and governance.
  • Clear, low-ego communicator who can manage multiple stakeholder requests without dropping details.
