About the Role

This role involves leading the secure execution and seamless coordination of high-priority regulatory projects at N26, defining and leading the bank's regulatory project portfolio, and overseeing end-to-end management, design, and execution of multiple high-impact projects.

Responsibilities

  • Define and lead the bank's regulatory project portfolio.
  • Oversee the end-to-end management, design, and execution of multiple high-impact projects, ensuring they are delivered on time, within budget, and to exacting standards.
  • Lead, manage, and support a dedicated team of Regulatory Project Managers.
  • Foster an inclusive, high-performing environment by setting clear goals, providing continuous mentorship, and conducting rigorous performance reviews.
  • Take full responsibility for the team’s strategic direction.
  • Regularly report directly to the Executive Team and the Board of Directors on project statuses, strategic risks, and milestone achievements.
  • Lead structured problem-solving sessions for key company issues.
  • Analyze highly complex organizational and regulatory problems, identify root causes, and make swift, informed decisions to mitigate systemic risks.
  • Collaborate closely with C-level leadership to ensure absolute strategic alignment across the organization.
  • Serve as the definitive, central point of connection for both internal and external stakeholders.

Requirements

  • Master’s degree in Business, Law, Finance, or a related technical/analytical field.
  • 10+ years of experience in financial services project delivery.
  • At least 3 to 5 years in a direct people-management and department-leadership capacity.
  • Proven experience managing departmental budgets and optimizing resource allocation across competing high-impact projects.
  • Fluency in English.
  • Excellent executive presentation and storytelling skills.

Skills

  • Mastery of frameworks (e.g., Lean Six Sigma, 5 Whys) to diagnose operational and compliance failures and implement permanent fixes.
  • Ability to dynamically shift human capital, budget, and tech bandwidth across multiple massive projects as regulatory priorities evolve.
  • Capability to command a room at the Board or C-suite level, translating technical and legal blockers into clear, commercial risk choices.
