About the Role
This role is for a Strategy Analyst to join the Bauer Media Outdoor Strategy team, supporting projects across the UK and Europe. The analyst will help shape the company's future by contributing to commercial growth, business development, corporate growth, and strategic transformation initiatives, offering exposure to senior leadership and a strong foundation for a career in strategy.
Responsibilities
- Support the development and execution of Bauer Media Outdoors’s strategic priorities.
- Conduct market, competitor and industry analysis across multiple European markets.
- Build business cases for strategic initiatives and investment opportunities.
- Produce high-quality presentations and materials for Executive Leadership and Board discussions.
- Analyse revenue performance, pricing, yield and commercial opportunities.
- Identify growth opportunities through customer analysis, market trends and competitive benchmarking.
- Support strategic projects aimed at improving revenue, profitability and commercial effectiveness.
- Work alongside project managers and business leaders to deliver strategic initiatives.
- Structure complex problems into clear analytical workstreams.
- Monitor project progress and prepare recommendations for senior stakeholders.
- Analyse large datasets to identify trends and commercial opportunities.
- Develop dashboards and management reporting.
- Translate analytical findings into practical business recommendations.
- Work closely with senior leaders across Commercial, Finance, Operations, Marketing and Product.
- Build relationships across multiple European markets.
- Prepare reports and presentations summarising projects and key activities.
- Present findings confidently to senior stakeholders.
Requirements
- Some work experience, ideally in an analysis/research role.
- Ability to tell a story with data.
- Curiosity about commercial strategy.
- Confidence in pulling together PowerPoint presentations.
- Ability to gather information from across the business.
- Experience hosting large internal meetings.
- Self-sufficient and proactive.
- Comfortable independently finding data from conventional and unconventional sources.
- Ability to share findings.
