About the Role
The Supplier Support Associate will support the Supplier Support team in obtaining declarations and other important information from non-responsive suppliers in our client’s supply chains.
Responsibilities
- Communicate with suppliers through emails, chats, and conference calls to gather compliance information and confirm document quality.
- Work directly with top-tier suppliers to assist with compliance requests.
- Handle supplier inquiries via email and chat to provide a positive experience.
- Engage with unresponsive suppliers through multi-channel outreach, education, and webinar invitations.
- Provide language support for internal translations, hosting webinars, and joining sales prospect calls.
- Collaborate with the Program Success team to strategize on customer campaigns and supplier issues.
- Validate and ensure quality assurance for compliance data.
- Act as a peer mentor to Supplier Support Agents.
Requirements
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English.
- Proficiency in additional languages such as Italian, French, or German may be required.
- Bachelor’s Degree or Higher diploma from a recognized learning institution.
- 1-2 years of related work experience in administration, reporting, research, data, supplier/customer support, or call centers.
- Ability to manage time effectively and handle multiple priorities.
- Computer proficiency in MS Office Suite and Google Applications.
- Self-starter with the ability to adhere to assigned deadlines.
- Solutions-first attitude and proactive engagement skills.
- Ability to build productive working relationships internally and externally.
