About the Role
The Global Corporate Banking Summer Analyst Program offers exciting opportunities as part of the firm's plan to expand its international banking franchise. With J.P. Morgan's support and resources, you will receive training, mentorship, and engage in challenging projects. This program is ideal for individuals with initiative and vision for strategy and planning. As a Summer Analyst, you will collaborate with industry experts to develop new products and solutions for clients. Global Corporate Banking manages relationships with mid-size and large corporations and public sector organizations worldwide, offering customized financial solutions and leveraging JPMorgan Chase's capital strength to help clients grow.
Responsibilities
- Work alongside Corporate Bankers and Product Partners in managing internal aspects of existing client relationships.
- Gain exposure to product, strategy, or client coverage-based teams.
- Prepare presentations covering topics such as financing alternatives, working capital optimization, and industry analysis.
- Create financial models.
- Develop an understanding of the full breadth of J.P. Morgan products and service offerings.
- Network with industry leaders, access best-in-class training, and learn how all businesses work together to provide excellent customer service.
Requirements
- Exceptional analytical, research, and project management skills.
- Familiarity with business fundamentals.
- Ability to quickly solve problems independently and as part of a team.
- Enthusiasm, energy, and a drive to succeed.
- Collaborative mindset and willingness to partner and work on a team.
- Confidence and initiative to take on early responsibility and manage own projects.
- Proficiency in MS Word and Excel.
- Fluency in English and Japanese.
- Expected graduation date between September 2027 and July 2028, studying outside of Japan in a Bachelor program or higher.
- If pursuing a Master’s Degree, it must be attained within 2 academic years of receiving a Bachelor’s Degree.
