About the Role

Responsibilities
- Provide behavioral services including assessment, evaluation, consultation, intervention, and development of behavioral management plans, service plans, goals, and treatment services.
- Provide education and training in areas pertinent to behavioral, psychological, and associated services.
- Develop and implement treatment plans based on evaluations and recommendations from care managers, advocates, and individuals served.
Requirements
- Master’s degree in behavior analysis or a closely related field (clinical or community psychology, clinical or treatment field of Psychology, Social Work, School Psychology, Applied Psychology as it relates to human development and clinical intervention, or a related Human services field).
- National board certification in behavioral analysis (BCBA) or NYS License in Mental Health Counseling.
- OPWDD-approved specialized training or experience in functional assessment techniques and behavior support plan development.
- Minimum 1 year of experience working directly with individuals with developmental disabilities, including behavior support plan development, implementation, and monitoring.
- Experience providing supervision and training to others in implementing behavior support plans.
- Valid NYS Driver’s License and reliable transportation.
