About the Role
Richmond Community Services seeks an HR Generalist to gain comprehensive HR experience across all centers of excellence, acting as a true business partner. This role offers daily variety and the chance to make a significant impact on employees and the community served.
Responsibilities
- Manage full-cycle recruiting and onboarding processes.
- Provide employee relations coaching and problem-solving.
- Conduct workplace investigations.
- Oversee performance management and employee development.
- Interpret and administer HR policies.
- Support labor relations and collective bargaining agreement administration.
- Ensure HR compliance and adherence to employment law.
- Organize employee engagement activities, recognition programs, and celebrations.
- Perform HR reporting, analytics, and special projects.
- Collaborate with managers to resolve complex people issues.
Requirements
- Approximately 3+ years of progressive HR experience.
- Ability to communicate professionally and build strong relationships.
- Capacity to handle confidential information with integrity.
- Skill in managing multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
- Aptitude for problem-solving and supporting employee success.
- Strong organizational and follow-through skills.
- Experience in a unionized environment and interpreting Collective Bargaining Agreements is a plus.
- SHRM-CP, SHRM-SCP, PHR, or a desire to obtain certification is a plus.
