About the Role

This Lecturer role in Project Management and Supply Chain focuses on delivering engaging online and occasional onsite lectures, acting as a Personal Academic Coach, leading module development, overseeing assessments, and driving innovation in teaching methods. The position supports undergraduate, postgraduate, and degree apprenticeship programmes within a dynamic academic team.

Responsibilities

  • Deliver engaging and dynamic lectures online and occasionally onsite as cover for onsite lecturers.
  • Act as a Personal Academic Coach (PAC), supporting students' engagement, progression and academic success.
  • Take on module leadership, ensuring consistent quality and development of learning materials and schemes of work.
  • Oversee assessment marking, create authentic assessments, and provide high-quality feedback.
  • Lead or support the creation of new programmes and refresh existing ones to align with industry trends and employer requirements.
  • Drive innovation in teaching methods, student support, and assessment techniques.

Requirements

  • Able to teach at least one of the following: Project Management or Supply Chain Management.
  • Must be able to bring to life the latest industry practice for students.
  • Sharp focus on all aspects of excellent teaching, learning and student experience.
  • Contribute to the Department's partnership and knowledge exchange activities.
  • Provide support to collaborative partners internationally.

Education Level

  • PhD (or close to completing their PhD) or equivalent degree are particularly welcome.
  • Professional body membership or qualifications, such as from CMI, CIPD, APM, CIPS, CILT, CIM, are particularly welcome to apply.

Salary/Compensations

  • £42663 - £49399 per annum
