About the Role

Concerned Dental Care of Yonkers is seeking a dedicated Dental Assistant to join their collaborative team on a part-time basis. This role offers an opportunity to contribute to a practice known for quality, compassion, and modern dental excellence.

Responsibilities

• Create a warm and comfortable environment for patients from check-in to checkout
• Prepare treatment rooms and assist during chairside procedures
• Take high-quality digital x-rays and ensure accurate charting and recordkeeping
• Sterilize instruments and maintain operatory cleanliness in accordance with OSHA guidelines
• Educate patients on post-op care and oral hygiene techniques
• Manage inventory and ensure supplies are stocked and maintained
• Support administrative flow as needed to enhance patient care delivery

Requirements

• At least 1 year of prior dental assistance experience
• Experience assisting an Endodontist, Periodontist and/or Oral Surgeon
• CPR certification
• Proficiency with taking digital x-rays
• Strong communication skills, team spirit, and patient-first mentality
