About the Role
We are seeking a motivated, ambitious, and curious individual to join VCCP's Planning department. This role involves supporting senior planners on large projects and taking ownership of smaller ones, working with complex businesses requiring strategic support. The position offers opportunities to engage in upstream strategic thinking, integrated campaigns, trading, research, and creative development.
Responsibilities
- Work with major UK brands to address creative and commercial challenges.
- Monitor internet culture, tech trends, and media shifts to ensure work is current and relevant.
- Contribute to pitches and new business efforts, identifying growth opportunities for brands.
- Analyze trend reports, research, social media listening, and consumer data to understand consumer behavior and brand interaction.
- Become proficient in tools such as Mintel, TGI, and Meltwater.
- Collaborate with senior strategists to translate complex client issues into clear briefs for creative teams.
- Develop research decks, competitor analyses, and presentations to inspire ideas and communicate concepts.
- Conduct customer interviews and analyze focus group findings.
- Participate actively in client meetings and creative reviews.
