About the Role
The Logistics Coordinator ensures timely delivery and installation of office pods and furniture across Europe, acting as the operational interface between customers, warehouses, manufacturers, shipping companies, and assembly partners. Success requires proactive communication, problem-solving, and reliable coordination of multiple stakeholders under pressure. This is an operational specialist role, not a strategic supply chain or purchasing position.
Responsibilities
- Coordinate package, LTL, and FTL shipments within Europe, including booking freight forwarders and carriers, transport planning, and scheduling delivery times.
- Collaborate closely with customers, suppliers, warehouses, shipping companies, and service providers to ensure smooth and on-time deliveries.
- Manage packaging requirements and prepare labeling, tags, and necessary shipping documents.
- Handle complaints, damages, and returns, including analysis of causes and coordination of credits, replacements, returns, and RMA cases.
- Maintain master data such as product, supplier, customs tariff, and Incoterm details, as well as logistics-relevant information like weights and dimensions.
- Develop and optimize SOPs, templates, checklists, and workflows, and support the automation of logistics processes using the ERP system and Google Sheets.
Requirements
- Several years of professional experience in logistics, dispatch, transport coordination, or freight forwarding.
- Completed vocational training or a degree in logistics, supply chain management, or a comparable field is advantageous.
- Very good English skills are mandatory.
- Good German language skills are a significant advantage.
- Other European language skills are advantageous.
- Proficient use of ERP systems such as Odoo or comparable tools.
- Very good knowledge of MS Office or Google Workspace, especially Google Sheets.
- Basic knowledge of business intelligence or reporting tools is helpful.
- Strong organizational skills and a structured, reliable way of working.
- Hands-on mentality and confidence in simultaneously managing multiple shipments and stakeholders.
- Excellent communication skills and a cooperative, team-oriented approach.
