About the Role

Observe and describe interactions between family members in a non-judgmental manner. Assist families in feeling comfortable and welcome while acting as an educator, model, and observer during visits. Complete concise, unbiased written reports.

Responsibilities

  • Observe and describe interactions between family members in a non-judgmental manner.
  • Assist families in feeling comfortable and welcome.
  • Assume the primary role of educator, model, and observer during visits.
  • Complete written reports that are concise and free from personal bias.
  • Maintain a valid driver's license and ability to drive to various locations to visit families and maintain appointments.
  • Attend and complete the Visiting Coaching Model training.

Requirements

  • Must meet the requirements of the School Age Care, Day Care, and/or Mental Health Regulations regarding a State Central Register Clearance regarding history of abuse/maltreatment of children.

Experience Level

  • 1 year working with children and families (with Bachelor's degree)
  • 3 years experience working with children and families (with Associate's degree or High School Diploma)

  • Bachelor's degree in Social Work, Counseling or Mental Health/Human Service Field preferred
  • Associate's degree in Human Services
  • High School Diploma

Salary/Compensations

  • $18.00-$19.00 per hour
