About the Role

As a recruiter at Kooku, you will be part of a supportive team with structured representation, shared sourcing strategies, and briefing templates. You'll have technical backup and a strong network, working with an established KPI methodology and dashboard for data-driven performance. Kooku ensures clean contractual arrangements, avoiding grey areas of false self-employment with clients.

Responsibilities

• Fill roles for leaders in production and mechanical/opto-mechanical fields.
• Fill roles for employees in design/opto-mechanics/electrical engineering.
• Fill roles in production, including both employees and leadership positions.
• Fill roles in software, and when needed, Head of Product and Sales positions.
• Manage the full recruitment cycle: briefing, persona development, job posting, active sourcing, screening, interview coordination, candidate communication, offer coordination, and handover.
• Utilize active sourcing and direct outreach as primary channels, supplemented by job boards where effective.
• Incorporate sourcing filters that consider security vetting (including household members) and cultural fit, prioritizing high self-responsibility and dynamism over rigid corporate or automotive mindsets.
• Provide weekly KPI reporting on sourcing volume, response rates, conversion, and time-to-hire for each role.

Requirements

• Several years of experience in technical recruiting with active sourcing as the main channel, particularly for engineering and hardware profiles.
• Experience with hard-to-reach target groups and low response rates, along with a clear strategy to manage them.
• Proficient use of LinkedIn Recruiter, XING Talent Manager, and sourcing strings.
• Fluent in German and English (negotiation level).
• Willingness to work 1-2 days per week on-site in Hannover.
• Ideally reside in the Hannover region or Northern Germany.
• Independent and self-responsible working style as a true freelancer.
