About the Role

Serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Government, and more. Monitor assigned areas, conduct routine patrols, and maintain a visible presence to help deter incidents. This driving post requires a valid driver’s license. Provide outstanding customer service, communicate professionally, and support access control activities while demonstrating Allied Universal’s agile, reliable, innovative, caring, team-oriented, and integrity-driven values.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service to visitors, employees, and the public while carrying out site-specific security-related procedures, policies, and emergency response activities at government facilities.
Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of assigned buildings, public areas, parking areas, and perimeter locations to deter unauthorized activity and identify potential concerns.
Monitor access points and observe activity throughout the location, reporting suspicious behavior, hazards, maintenance concerns, and policy violations.
Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations calmly and professionally, following established post orders and escalation procedures.
Prepare clear and accurate reports, logs, and incident documentation, and communicate relevant information to supervisors, site representatives, and emergency responders.

Requirements

At least one year of security-related experience is required.
A valid driver’s license is required.
Access control and badge experience is preferred.
Customer service experience is preferred.
Comfort using a computer or tablet is preferred.
Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
Applicants will be subject to a background investigation.
Applicants will be subject to a drug screen.
Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
