About the Role
Serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Government, and more. Monitor assigned areas, conduct routine patrols, and maintain a visible presence to help deter incidents. This driving post requires a valid driver’s license. Provide outstanding customer service, communicate professionally, and support access control activities while demonstrating Allied Universal’s agile, reliable, innovative, caring, team-oriented, and integrity-driven values.
Responsibilities
- Provide customer service to visitors, employees, and the public while carrying out site-specific security-related procedures, policies, and emergency response activities at government facilities.
- Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of assigned buildings, public areas, parking areas, and perimeter locations to deter unauthorized activity and identify potential concerns.
- Monitor access points and observe activity throughout the location, reporting suspicious behavior, hazards, maintenance concerns, and policy violations.
- Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations calmly and professionally, following established post orders and escalation procedures.
- Prepare clear and accurate reports, logs, and incident documentation, and communicate relevant information to supervisors, site representatives, and emergency responders.
Requirements
- At least one year of security-related experience is required.
- A valid driver’s license is required.
- Access control and badge experience is preferred.
- Customer service experience is preferred.
- Comfort using a computer or tablet is preferred.
- Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
- Applicants will be subject to a background investigation.
- Applicants will be subject to a drug screen.
- Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
- A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
