About the Role

We are seeking a skilled and experienced Cyber Infrastructure Systems Engineer (CISE) to join our team. The ideal candidate will have system administration expertise in Amazon Web Service (AWS) core services, managing and optimizing Linux systems, as well as infrastructure automation. This role requires a hands-on professional with a robust understanding of security and risk management, and system monitoring. The candidate must have a proven track record of designing and implementing solutions that comply with security policies, maintaining a secure and resilient IT environment.

Responsibilities

Administer, support, and optimize cloud-based infrastructure within Amazon Web Services (AWS), including services such as EC2, S3, IAM, VPC, RDS, CloudWatch, Lambda.
Configure, monitor, maintain, and troubleshoot Red Hat Linux systems.
Implement and manage Infrastructure as Code (IaC) and configuration management using tools such as CloudFormation, Terraform, Ansible.
Install monitoring agents, STIGing, and Hardening AWS AMIs.
Monitor system performance and resource usage, identify potential problems, and implement solutions to maintain system resilience and security.

Requirements

Bachelor’s Degree with a minimum of 6 years of relevant experience, or Graduate Degree with a minimum of 4 years of relevant experience, or in lieu of a degree, a minimum of 10 years of prior related experience.
Clearance: Top Secret/Sensitive Compartmented Information (TS/SCI) with Counter-Intelligence Polygraph (CI Poly).
DoD 8570.01-M IAT Level 2 Required Professional Certifications: CCNA- Security, Security+ CE, or higher certification.
