About the Role
The Special Groups and Customized Programs Coordinator supports the delivery of specialized and customized English language programs for international and local participants. This role involves preparing and administering contracts, supporting program operations, monitoring expenditures, and serving as a key contact for stakeholders.
Responsibilities
- Fostering cooperative working relationships with a wide variety of internal and external contacts
- Preparing contracts using templates
- Ensuring contracts and agreements are consistent with University standards and guidelines
- Analyzing, monitoring and reporting on supplier performance based on contracted agreements and strategic objectives
- Planning and implementing components of curricular and/or co-curricular programs and activities
- Delivering presentations to promote programs, opportunities and/or initiatives
- Monitoring accounts for a project and/or program
- Verifying the accuracy of invoices
Requirements
- Bachelor's Degree or acceptable combination of equivalent experience.
- Minimum four (4) years of experience developing and maintaining effective relationships with international affiliates such as: educational institutions, agents, sponsors; preparing programming contracts using established templates; ensuring contracts and agreements comply with organizational policies, standards, and guidelines; and analyzing, monitoring, and reporting on agent affiliate performance.
- Minimum two (2) years of experience planning and implementing educational, curricular, co-curricular, or other learner-focused programs and activities; delivering presentations to promote programs, opportunities, and initiatives; monitoring accounts, budgets, and expenditures for projects and programs and experience reviewing and verifying invoices and related financial documentation for accuracy.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Demonstrated organizational skills with the ability to coordinate multiple activities and meet competing deadlines.
- Demonstrated cultural awareness and the ability to work effectively with international learners, affiliates, and individuals from diverse cultural backgrounds.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy, particularly in the administration of contracts, financial records, and invoices.
- Demonstrated analytical skills with the ability to monitor performance, evaluate information, and prepare reports.
- Ability to work independently and exercise sound judgment within established policies, procedures, and guidelines.
- Ability to work collaboratively and contribute to the successful delivery of programs and services
- Strong proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint, with the ability to prepare reports, presentations, and program-related documentation.
