About the Role
At Cancer Research UK, we exist to beat cancer. Every donation we receive helps fund life-saving research and brings us closer to a world where everybody lives longer, better lives, free from the fear of cancer. We are looking for an organised and customer-focused Income Processing Executive to join our Finance team and play a vital role in ensuring supporter donations and income are processed accurately, efficiently and professionally.
Responsibilities
- Process donations, sponsorship income and supporter payments received through a variety of channels.
- Accurately allocate income to the correct financial cost centres using established procedures, coding matrices and decision trees.
- Prepare payments for banking and complete accurate data entry across multiple systems, databases and spreadsheets.
- Manage supporter administration and correspondence arising from donations and income processing, including responding to supporter queries.
- Support reconciliations, refunds, reversals and other income processing activities while maintaining high levels of accuracy and compliance.
- Work collaboratively with colleagues to meet service level agreements and identify opportunities for continuous improvement.
- Sorting and receiving post.
Requirements
- Experience working in a customer service, administration or service-focused environment.
- Excellent attention to detail and ability to process high volumes accurately.
- Strong relationship-building and communication skills.
- Experience using financial systems, CRM systems, databases or spreadsheets.
- Strong organisational skills and ability to work to SLAs and KPIs.
- Customer-focused and collaborative approach.
- You must be eligible to work in the UK to apply for this vacancy.
- Candidates must be 18 years or older.
