About the Role

Conduct independent internal reviews of claims decisions by preparing a Certificate of Determination with reasoning to support your findings. This role involves telephone communication with customers during the internal review process, responding to and preparing legal submissions for the Personal Injury Commission, and interacting with lawyers and other stakeholders. Ensure adherence to legislative requirements and compliance with legislative timeframes, and assist with developing and managing relationships with external stakeholders.

Responsibilities

  • Conduct independent internal reviews of claims decisions by preparing a Certificate of Determination with reasoning to support your findings
  • Telephone communication with the Customer during the internal review process
  • Responding to and preparing legal submissions in response to applications lodged with the Personal Injury Commission
  • Interaction with lawyers and other stake holders during the internal review process
  • Ensure adherence to legislative requirements and compliance with legislative timeframes
  • Assist with the development and management of relationships with external stakeholders

Requirements

  • Strong legal, technical, and analytical skills, with expertise in interpreting and applying NSW CTP legislation
  • High-level written communication skills and ability to simplify complex legal findings into plain English for customers
  • Exceptional attention to detail and ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment
  • Proven customer service excellence with focus on delivering clear and effective solutions
  • Collaborative team player with the ability to adapt and contribute effectively within a dynamic work setting
  • A passion for leveraging emerging technologies to stay ahead in a rapidly evolving digital landscape
