About the Role

Performs preventive maintenance and installs minor/routine parts on all types of HVAC equipment. Installs HVAC equipment and other appliances as needed. Completes preventive maintenance, including cleaning.

Responsibilities

• Residential Heating tune-ups OR Residential air conditioning tune-ups.
• Maintains tools, supplies and/or equipment for the purpose of ensuring availability and safe operating condition.
• Manages and maintains appropriate inventory ensuring availability of required parts and equipment.
• Requests equipment and supplies for the purpose of maintaining inventory and ensuring availability of required items.
• Must be able to work independently and have good customer communication skills.
• Other duties as assigned.

Requirements

• Minimum requirement is a High School Diploma or General Education Degree (GED).
• Valid Driver’s License.
• Ability to speak, read, and write English in a proficient manner.
• Must be familiar with and able to utilize electronic equipment, including a computer, for queries and accurate data entry.
• Demonstrated knowledge and competency in operation, service and use of a variety of HVAC systems, equipment and related components.
• Regularly required to listen, talk and hear.
• Frequently required to use hands or fingers, handle or feel objects, tools, or controls.
• Occasionally required to stand; walk; sit; and reach with hands and arms.
• Must occasionally lift and/or move up to 15 pounds.
• Specific vision abilities required include close vision, distance vision, and the ability to adjust focus.
