About the Role
We are looking for an entrepreneurial, driven, and accomplished Strategic Associate Account Executive to assist in executing an enterprise growth strategy within the Financial Services market. This role offers the opportunity to join a high-growth company and sell an award-winning product, making a significant contribution to the company's future success.
Responsibilities
- Partner with the global sales team to help execute a strategic client growth plan for your book of accounts across a shared revenue target.
- Upsell existing client relationships by researching opportunities, initiating discussions, prospecting new teams, conducting demos, managing product trials, and closing sales.
- Develop strong internal relationships, garnering buy-in and marshaling resources to deliver on revenue outcomes.
- Coordinate with your team to forecast accurately and develop the necessary pipeline to meet and exceed goals.
- Work closely with the Product Specialist team during trials to ensure client engagement.
- Gather and pass on information on market and client product needs to sales, product management, content, and product marketing to help continually enhance products.
Requirements
- Prior sales experience with a B2B SaaS solution and a customer network in the Financial Services market (buy side and sell side).
- Proven track record of exceeding targets.
- Ability to listen actively, ask insightful questions, and uncover client needs, becoming a trusted partner.
- Use knowledge of the industry, competitive environment, and client experiences to identify trends and stay ahead of customer needs.
- Able to cold call and prospect across a client base while building a pipeline.
- Quick learner and able to implement feedback effectively.
- Strong ability to develop rapport with new people, and to maintain relationships, combined with a positive, outgoing personality.
- Outstanding communicator, able to convey value propositions clearly across all levels of an organization.
- Able to distill and explain complex issues in simple terms.
- Experience hitting six-figure or seven-figure revenue targets on an annual basis.
- Able to travel to clients on a regular basis.
