About the Role
We are building our AI practice and seeking an individual to own this transformation. This is a hands-on role within our architecture function, involving client engagement, solution design, and building early versions of AI-driven software. The role balances client-facing work with internal transformation efforts, aiming to shape the future of AI in software development.
Responsibilities
- Own a portfolio of AI transformation objectives, across clients and internally.
- Engage in discovery, analyze problems through an AI lens, and build initial solutions.
- Set technical direction and ensure adoption of new working methods.
- Own the internal AI transformation roadmap, prioritizing and driving initiatives to delivery.
- Translate between technical and business audiences, bridging the gap between the keyboard and the boardroom.
Requirements
- Strong grasp of software engineering workflows built around gen-AI.
- Solid hands-on experience with agentic coding tools.
- Experience building applications that interact with LLMs via APIs, as both contributor and leader.
- Track record of embedding AI practices in a team through experimentation, guidance, and support.
- Technical team leadership experience.
- Versatile software development skills (Python, AWS, JavaScript/TypeScript and similar).
- Architectural solution design experience.
- Organisational programme management experience.
