About the Role
Jomboy Media's Content Internship is a hands-on training program for students interested in learning sports media content creation, from live events to studio shows and social media. Interns will shadow and assist content creators, editors, and producers, gaining exposure to flagship shows like Warehouse Games, Talkin' Yanks, Talkin' Baseball, We Got Ice, and Breakdowns.
Responsibilities
- Learn the content creation cycle by assisting content and production teams under supervision.
- Shadow producers on new and existing Jomboy Media brands.
- Contribute creative ideas for engaging the community across content and social channels.
- Assist with research, show logistics, and analytics to support production.
- Observe and assist producers, editors, and the social team to learn how content aligns with brand strategy.
- Gain exposure to a range of productions, including live events, studio shows, run-and-gun content, and podcasts, under team guidance.
Requirements
- Strong familiarity with Jomboy Media content across all platforms.
- Experience or coursework using Adobe Creative Suite, including Photoshop and Premiere Pro.
- Strong attention to detail and eagerness to learn across many parts of production.
- Understanding of Jomboy Media’s brand, voice and audience.
- Organized, creative, a good communicator, and a team player.
- Able to work out of either our NYC office or Warehouse in Jersey City on assigned days.
