About the Role
The Associate, Wealth Management supports and cultivates wealth management relationships and portfolios for high-net-worth clients. This role assists in business development by leveraging the firm's capabilities, ensuring a positive client experience, and managing client onboarding, maintenance, transactions, and inquiries.
Responsibilities
- Lead and manage the client onboarding process, coordinating process flow with internal business units.
- Support client needs using independent judgment and discretion.
- Act as the first point of escalation for problem resolution.
- Proactively reach out to clients to resolve reporting metrics issues, ensuring a personalized client experience.
- Identify potential opportunities for existing customers and clients suitable for specific products and services.
- Independently reach out to internal referrals to identify opportunities.
- Perform analysis on client investment accounts to prepare client portfolio reviews and other materials for client meetings.
- Assist in developing sales plans for each client based on analysis of reports and metrics to help grow business.
- Accompany wealth sales professionals on client calls as a subject matter expert and primary client contact.
- Provide information regarding service, operations, products, and technology platforms.
- Comply with all regulations pertaining to BSA, USA PATRIOT ACT, and OFAC.
- Complete annual BSA training.
- Report suspicions of criminal activity or attempts to avoid BSA reporting requirements.
- Ensure BSA training requirements are completed by staff (for supervisory positions).
- Perform all other duties as assigned.
Requirements
- Strong understanding of Bank's policies, procedures, and capabilities, including comprehensive knowledge of all Valley Wealth Management products.
- Ability to build and maintain positive and productive working relationships within Valley Bank to resolve client issues efficiently.
- Client service oriented with a high level of professional and personal integrity.
