About the Role

Join Catholic Charities Disabilities Services as a Direct Support Professional – Community Integration Specialist and contribute to our mission of making a positive impact in the community. This role offers endless opportunities to make a meaningful difference.

Responsibilities

  • Plan and lead person-centered community engagement activities that reflect individuals’ goals, preferences, and Life Plans.
  • Coordinate and follow structured recreation plans, incorporating individual input and adapting to program needs.
  • Facilitate access to community resources and opportunities while promoting inclusion, social connections, and relationship building.

Requirements

  • All employees must consent to a full criminal background check and fingerprinting.
  • Valid NYS Driver’s License and reliable vehicle.
  • High School Diploma or GED.
  • 4 days of Orientation, SCIP CPR/First Aid, and Medication Administration Certification, including successful completion of medication pours (paid training provided by employer, must be completed within 90 days of employment).
