About the Role

Searcys is seeking a creative and passionate Senior Chef de Partie to join the team at the National Portrait Gallery. This role offers the opportunity to work with top chefs, create high-quality dishes, and be part of a structured team delivering lunch and dinner service in a renowned London restaurant.

Responsibilities

• Provide food and service to a consistent high standard.
• Assist senior chefs with functions in different business areas.
• Liaise with key team members to plan food provision in all kitchen areas.
• Ensure smooth daily operations and adherence to the pre-agreed menu.
• Manage stock levels for a specific area, including ordering and waste control.
• Ensure food presentation meets the standards set by senior chefs.
• Comply with all legal requirements, including fire regulations, security, and licensing.
• Ensure all Health, Hygiene, and Safety requirements are adhered to.

Requirements

• Experience in working in a 5-star hotel or Michelin-star restaurant is desirable.
• Ability to work effectively as part of a team.
• Strong communication skills.
