About the Role

American Endovascular is seeking a Full Time Nurse Practitioner to join our vascular team. This role involves performing patient assessments for vascular disease/conditions and collaborating with interventionalists on clinical plans to restore blood flow to limbs. Wound care experience is preferred, and proficiency in using voice recognition for EMR documentation is essential.

Responsibilities

  • Conduct thorough clinical assessments and physical examinations for patients of geriatric populations.
  • Diagnose and manage acute and chronic illnesses, with a focus on family medicine and pain management strategies.
  • Develop and implement individualized care plans, including prescribing medications and therapies as appropriate.
  • Collaborate with interdisciplinary healthcare teams to coordinate patient care and ensure adherence to safety protocols.
  • Provide patient education on disease prevention, health promotion, and trauma recovery to support informed decision-making.
  • Maintain accurate and detailed patient records in compliance with regulatory standards and organizational policies.
  • Participate in quality improvement initiatives to enhance clinical practices and patient outcomes.

Requirements

  • Licensed Nurse Practitioner (Required)
  • Master’s or Doctoral degree in Nursing from an accredited program.
  • Certification as a Family Nurse Practitioner (FNP) or equivalent specialty certification.
  • Minimum of 2 years clinical experience in family medicine or a related healthcare setting.
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certifications.
