About the Role
The Associate Content Producer will support the growth of NBCUniversal’s portfolio of conflict-driven daytime talk shows by creating and publishing platform-native video content across YouTube, Facebook, TikTok, and Snapchat. This role involves transforming episodic content into engaging clips, editing videos with creative elements, and optimizing content for reach, engagement, and monetization.
Responsibilities
- Create and publish high-performing, platform-native video across YouTube, Facebook, TikTok, and Snapchat.
- Transform a deep archive of episodic content into engaging clips and compilations.
- Edit videos with motion graphics, subtitles, and other creative elements to maximize audience retention.
- Own the end-to-end publishing process, ensuring content is optimized through titles, thumbnails, and metadata.
- Continuously refine content and formats using performance data and platform analytics.
- Use and generate briefs to creatively interpret and deliver on budgetary aims.
- Edit and publish videos using Adobe Premiere and/or bulk asset upload and creation products.
- Deliver video thumbnails, channel banners, animated gifs and endcards.
- Regularly contribute to discussions regarding channel success, offering ideas for building audiences and revenue.
- Regularly report to senior management on channel performance.
- Manage workflow and scheduling via Airtable.
- Ensure creative assets are labelled, archived and managed correctly.
Requirements
- Degree in creative arts and design, graphic design, digital media and creative computing or similar.
- Portfolio that highlights individual creative flair within a commercial context.
- Minimum of one year’s experience gained in a digital media environment.
- Ability to create clips and compilations from master files with at least intermediate-level knowledge of Adobe Photoshop, Microsoft Word and Microsoft Excel.
- External candidates may be required to attend an in-person interview.
