About the Role
As a Technician, you will provide excellent customer service and be a point of knowledge for our clients about the maintenance and care of both their interior and exterior designs. This is an independent role which will involve early starts on a variance of days and taking ownership for plant maintenance at several client sites on a roster. You will be joining a team of like-minded plant specialists who meet regularly both online & in-person, and you will be part of our wider regional team.
Responsibilities
- Caring for a variety of internal and external plant displays at multiple client sites each day, ensuring every location looks its absolute best.
- Providing excellent customer service, completing site reports, and keeping accurate records using company systems.
- Working closely with your Line Manager to ensure all routes are completed efficiently and to the highest standards.
- Working safely, following all risk assessments and method statements, and helping to maintain the company's safety record.
- Following the organisation’s Health & Safety policies, taking care of your own safety and that of others, using equipment and PPE correctly, reporting hazards or incidents, participating in training, and cooperating with emergency procedures, risk assessments, and investigations.
Requirements
- Ability to travel to client sites in and around the job location.
- Comfortable with early start-times (Technicians can start their days between 5am and 7am depending on the clients they are supporting each day).
- Successful candidates will be required to obtain BPSS (Baseline Personnel Security Standard) clearance.
- Ability to use watering cans, stepladders, and stools as part of your daily routine.
- Ability to drive a company van.
