About the Role

Allied Universal is seeking a Security Officer - Part Time Enhanced to provide flexible and dependable security services. This role offers consistent hours at an assigned site with the opportunity to earn more by picking up additional shifts, ideal for those seeking part-time employment with income stability and potential for full-time growth.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to employees, visitors, contractors, and vendors by following site-specific security-related procedures and front desk policies at a technology, media, and telecommunications location.
• Monitor access to the facility by greeting visitors, verifying identification and authorization, issuing visitor credentials, and directing guests in accordance with site requirements.
• Operate front desk communication systems, receive and route calls, maintain visitor logs, and provide general information to support a professional reception area.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established emergency response procedures and notifying appropriate personnel.
• Monitor entry points and nearby front desk areas through observation and available systems, reporting unusual activity, access concerns, or maintenance issues to the appropriate contacts.

Requirements

• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Access control and badge experience is preferred.
• CPR certification is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• Applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• Applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
