About the Role
Canadian Blood Services is seeking a Temporary Full Time Manager, Business Change Enablement to join the Internal Customer Experience team. This role leads change management activities for technology solutions, assessing impacts on business processes and employee experiences. The focus is on business readiness, adoption, process optimization, and continuous improvement to maximize the value of enterprise technology investments.
Responsibilities
- Lead change management activities that support the successful adoption of technology solutions.
- Assess the impact of technology implementations on business processes, workflows, employee roles, and experiences.
- Develop adoption plans, training and enablement approaches, process documentation, and communication strategies.
- Ensure changes are understood, adopted, and translated into meaningful operational improvements.
- Focus on business readiness, post-implementation adoption, process optimization, and continuous improvement activities.
- Work independently while influencing stakeholders across the organization.
- Align activities with change and customer experience frameworks.
- Assess the impacts of technology-enabled change on business processes, employee roles and operating models.
- Help teams adopt new ways of working and realize intended business benefits.
- Partner with leaders, project teams, business analysts and stakeholders to create alignment, address concerns and support successful change outcomes.
- Develop and execute business readiness, adoption and enablement strategies.
- Equip employees with the knowledge, skills and support needed to transition to new technologies, processes and workflows.
- Identify adoption risks and barriers early through stakeholder engagement, communications planning and training approaches.
- Implement actions that improve readiness and strengthen workforce engagement.
- Document current and future-state workflows, identify optimization opportunities and support the integration of technology changes into daily operations.
- Monitor adoption outcomes, training effectiveness, employee experience and operational performance.
- Measure success, provide actionable insights and help maximize value from technology investments.
- Guide leaders through organizational change, support post-implementation reviews and contribute to the development of sustainable change and enablement practices.
Requirements
- Minimum ten years of experience leading and supporting complex change management initiatives, business improvement projects, technology implementations, and/or consulting engagements.
- Demonstrated ability to manage large-scale initiatives and achieve measurable results.
- Experience assessing the impact of technology implementations on business processes, workflows, employee roles, and organizational effectiveness.
- Strong understanding of process analysis, optimization, and workflow redesign.
- Demonstrated ability to measure adoption outcomes, operational effectiveness, and benefits realization following implementation.
- Ability to translate technical and system changes into business impacts and employee-focused adoption strategies.
- Excellent communication, presentation, facilitation, and stakeholder management skills.
- Ability to influence leaders without direct authority.
- Ability to work independently.
- Ability to adapt to changing priorities.
- Ability to develop innovative solutions.
- Support national travel requirements.

- Graduate degree or relevant certification in Organizational Change Management, Business Process Improvement, Lean, Six Sigma, Organizational Effectiveness, Business Analysis, or a related field is considered an asset.
Salary/Compensations
- $114,800 - $135,100
