About the Role

Lead the delivery of facilities management services across EssilorLuxottica's UK Retail property portfolio, ensuring stores and support offices are safe, compliant, efficient, and fit for purpose. Own a national estate of over 700 retail locations and support offices, driving operational excellence and managing a dedicated facilities team.

Responsibilities

• Take an operational lead on facilities and maintenance operations across retail stores and support offices
• Manage planned preventative maintenance and reactive maintenance programmes
• Oversee key supplier and contractor relationships, ensuring service levels and KPIs are achieved
• Ensure compliance with health & safety, fire safety and statutory requirements
• Manage facilities budgets, expenditure reporting and cost-saving initiatives
• Support office and store refurbishment, renovation and dilapidation projects
• Drive continuous improvement across facilities processes and service delivery
• Lead and develop Facilities Coordinators and reception teams to achieve departmental objectives
• Monitor performance and deliver regular reporting on budgets, SLAs and operational activity

Requirements

• Previous Facilities & Maintenance experience, ideally within a retail environment
• Strong contractor, supplier and stakeholder management skills
• Experience managing budgets, expenditure and cost control initiatives
• Excellent organisational and prioritisation abilities
• Proven people leadership experience with the ability to develop and motivate teams
• Strong understanding of facilities compliance, maintenance and operational best practice
• Project management experience would be advantageous
• Willingness to travel across the UK & Ireland to visit stores
