About the Role

This position is with LaSalle Investment Management’s Debt and Value-Add Strategies team, a specialist business investing fund capital into real estate debt and value-add equity investments across Europe. The team was established in 2010 and has become a leading provider of alternative finance for commercial real estate in Europe, having raised €7.0bn of capital since inception. The team is actively exploring new opportunities and investment strategies.

Responsibilities

  • Analysing and forecasting the Team’s performance on funds/investment mandates and completed deals.
  • Running deal/portfolio level analysis, including building performance scenarios and assessing risk allocation and portfolio diversification.
  • Communicating with stakeholders, preparing investor communications (quarterly reports, MDD/ODD, ESG reporting), and organizing investor conferences and calls.
  • Contributing to platform strategic initiatives such as implementation of warehouse financing vehicles, bond wrappers, and other fund matters.
  • Preparing asset models and assisting in Investment Committee memos for loan restructures and workouts.
  • Supporting fund strategies and fundraising efforts by working with PM team members, fund manager, and Investor Relations.

Requirements

  • 3+ years of private equity, banking, or commercial real estate experience.
  • Knowledge and experience in analysing and modelling complex deals and financial structures.
  • Familiarity with complex capital structures and ability to analyse financial statements is beneficial.
  • Proficiency in financial modelling in Excel.
  • Strong attention to detail and analytical rigor.
  • A team player with excellent communication skills, strong work ethic, and positive attitude.
  • Energetic and self-motivated, with an ability to work independently and show initiative.
  • Candidates must be authorized to work in the United States without sponsorship.
