About the Role

Conduct cost-effectiveness analysis (CEA) and prepare strategic health technology assessment (HTA) materials to minimize price cuts for responsible products under the Official Cost Effectiveness Evaluation (CEE).

Responsibilities

  • Accomplish CEA according to guidelines and generate plausible results in collaboration with internal and external stakeholders.
  • Prepare required materials and negotiate with C2H/MHLW in the official CEE process.
  • Make suggestions to Pricing & Market Access strategy in terms of HTA.
  • Collect and leverage updated information about technical knowledge and HTA systems for activities.

Requirements

  • Experience of CEA.
  • Experience of CEE negotiation with C2H (nice to have).
  • Experience of working in a multi-national pharmaceutical company (nice to have).
  • Bachelor degree in a relevant field (Marketing, Science, Economics or pharmacists).
  • Pharmacist license (nice to have).
  • Medical license (nice to have).
  • Knowledge of healthcare business, HTA, and pricing & reimbursement regulations in Japan.
  • Excellent interpersonal communication skills.
  • Logical thinking.
  • Problem resolution skills.
  • Project management skills.
  • Experience in Real World Data analysis/Epidemiological research (nice to have).
  • Familiarity with operating in a global business (nice to have).
  • Statistical skills (nice to have).
  • High-level Excel skills (nice to have).
  • Japanese: Fluent.
  • English: Business-level.
