About the Role
Conduct cost-effectiveness analysis (CEA) and prepare strategic health technology assessment (HTA) materials to minimize price cuts for responsible products under the Official Cost Effectiveness Evaluation (CEE).
Responsibilities
- Accomplish CEA according to guidelines and generate plausible results in collaboration with internal and external stakeholders.
- Prepare required materials and negotiate with C2H/MHLW in the official CEE process.
- Make suggestions to Pricing & Market Access strategy in terms of HTA.
- Collect and leverage updated information about technical knowledge and HTA systems for activities.
Requirements
- Experience of CEA.
- Experience of CEE negotiation with C2H (nice to have).
- Experience of working in a multi-national pharmaceutical company (nice to have).
- Bachelor degree in a relevant field (Marketing, Science, Economics or pharmacists).
- Pharmacist license (nice to have).
- Medical license (nice to have).
- Knowledge of healthcare business, HTA, and pricing & reimbursement regulations in Japan.
- Excellent interpersonal communication skills.
- Logical thinking.
- Problem resolution skills.
- Project management skills.
- Experience in Real World Data analysis/Epidemiological research (nice to have).
- Familiarity with operating in a global business (nice to have).
- Statistical skills (nice to have).
- High-level Excel skills (nice to have).
- Japanese: Fluent.
- English: Business-level.
