About the Role
As part of our precision manufacturing team at our Berlin site, you will support the production of optical components, assemblies, and systems made of glass, glass-ceramics, and ceramics for high-tech small-batch, single-part, and prototype production.
Responsibilities
- Perform internal material transport and independently supply production areas with required materials.
- Ensure a continuous material flow to support production processes.
- Coordinate transport requirements with various production teams through different communication channels.
- Transport materials and heavy loads using forklifts, electric pallet trucks, and other transport equipment.
- Monitor and document material movements and inventory data using digital tools.
- Organize, label, and sort incoming goods and provide transport packaging and materials.
- Follow workplace and product safety requirements while handling and transporting materials.
Requirements
- Completed vocational training in logistics, warehousing, or a comparable qualification.
- Experience in warehouse, logistics, manufacturing, or material handling environments.
- Valid forklift license and practical experience operating industrial trucks and lifting equipment.
- Experience working with computer applications; knowledge of Microsoft Office and SAP.
- Willingness to work in a three-shift operation.

- Works reliably and accurately when handling materials, inventory information, and transport documentation.
- Maintains attention to safety requirements while working with heavy loads and transport equipment.
- Communicates effectively with different production teams in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.

- Remains focused and organized while performing physically demanding work activities.

Salary/Compensations
- Remuneration in accordance with the IG Metall collective wage agreement (company-specific collective wage agreement) including 13th month’s salary and variable remuneration components
