About the Role
Join a locally owned and operated store to deliver health, beauty and convenience services in your community, keeping the customer at the center of everything you do.
Responsibilities
- Provide excellent customer service and positively engage with all customers.
- Maintain a neat and organized checkout area.
- Greet all customers and display a warm demeanor.
- Accurately scan or enter product data.
- Accurately account for cash, coupons, lottery, and PC Optimum.
- Ask for the customer’s PC Optimum Card during each transaction.
- Ensure proper documentation is completed for customer receipt and return of goods.
- Merchandise and maintain designated areas (facing, signing, labeling, etc.).
- Ensure loss prevention standards are followed.
- Control cash, lottery, and stamp inventory.
- Present a proper image to the public in accordance with Uniform Policy and Dress Code Guidelines.
- Comply with all health and safety regulations.
- Comply with all store policies and procedures.
- Ensure the standards of housekeeping and image are maintained.
- Perform other duties as required.
Requirements
- Balance teamwork and efficiency in processing the customer order.
- Strong computer and register skills.
- Well organized with the ability to record keep.
