About the Role
As a (Sr.) Launch Manager, you will develop a scalable model for opening new clubs across Europe. You will be responsible for the entire launch process, from handover by Planning & Construction to successful operational handover to Field Operations. You will ensure that each new or acquired location is integrated on time, within budget, and according to defined standards. You will continuously develop the Launch Playbook and ensure that each launch is better than the last. You will report to the COO and work closely with Planning & Construction, Central Operations, Field Operations, Commercial, Brand, Finance, and People.
Responsibilities
- Develop and manage the Launch Playbook, defining standards, roles, milestones, governance, and best practices.
- Manage the entire launch of new clubs, ensuring timely opening within budget and according to standards.
- Ensure all prerequisites for a successful opening are met, including teams, systems, processes, supply chains, training, customer experience, and operational standards.
- Continuously develop the launch organization to enable parallel execution of multiple club openings.
- Analyze each launch, identify optimization potential, and integrate learnings into the Launch Playbook and cross-functional collaboration.
- Manage stakeholders across all launches, ensuring alignment between internal and external partners, resolving conflicts, and facilitating timely decisions.
Requirements
- 3-5 years of experience in project, launch, or operations management in a fast-growing multi-site company.
- Proven experience in managing complex, cross-functional rollouts and new openings.
- Experience in establishing standardized processes, playbooks, and scalable rollout models.
- Strong organizational and prioritization skills, with the ability to manage multiple projects concurrently.
- Structured, analytical, and solution-oriented approach, even under high speed, ambiguity, and complexity.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to align diverse functions towards common goals.
- High willingness to travel and enjoy spending regular time at the clubs.
- High degree of personal responsibility, hands-on mentality, and drive to push things to successful completion.
