About the Role
This role involves warehouse operations including loading, unloading, and stock replenishment. You will operate material handling equipment and contribute to maintaining a safe and efficient work environment.
Responsibilities
- Unload and load trucks
- Replenish stock
- Utilize material handling equipment such as forklifts, pallet jacks, and shrink wrappers
- Load packages onto transportation trucks
- Maintain a clean and safe work environment
- Perform inventory counts
- Assist in maintaining warehouse security and safety
- Complete special projects as directed by management
- Perform other duties as assigned, both on and off forklift
- Represent Schluter Systems L.P. professionally and positively
- Verify and confirm product upon receipt
Requirements
- Prior forklift experience required
- Effective communication skills
- Ability to read, write, and perform basic math functions accurately
- Prior experience in a warehouse/distribution environment
- General knowledge of warehouse procedures
- Ability to work in a team environment and take initiative
- Ability to lift 70 lbs, climb ladders, and utilize material handling equipment
- Good attendance is required
