About the Role

This role offers an exciting opportunity to work with major UK organizations, influencing cloud strategies, solution design, and delivering modern Azure platforms for business transformation. You will combine technical expertise with customer-facing consultancy, acting as a trusted advisor throughout the project lifecycle within Computacenter’s Global Professional Services organization.

Responsibilities

  • Lead customer engagements, providing expert Azure consultancy throughout the solution lifecycle.
  • Shape and influence Azure solutions during pre-sales activities, workshops, and technical discussions.
  • Design and implement scalable, secure, and resilient Azure platforms aligned to industry best practices.
  • Provide technical governance, assurance, and quality control across pre-sales and project delivery engagements.
  • Define standards, blueprints, and reusable patterns for Azure-based solutions.
  • Collaborate within agile delivery teams to design, implement, and optimise cloud solutions.
  • Present technical solutions to customers and stakeholders at both technical and executive levels.
  • Identify technical and business risks and provide recommendations to ensure successful outcomes.
  • Mentor consultants and engineers while contributing to the growth of the Azure Practice.

Requirements

  • Extensive experience designing and delivering Microsoft Azure solutions.
  • Azure certifications such as Azure Solutions Architect Expert, Azure Administrator Associate, and/or Azure DevOps Engineer Expert.
  • Strong experience supporting pre-sales engagements and shaping customer requirements.
  • Expertise across Azure infrastructure, networking, security, governance, automation, and cloud migration.
  • Strong understanding of Azure Cloud Adoption Framework, Enterprise Scale Landing Zones (ALZ), Well-Architected Framework, FinOps and Cost Optimisation, and Operational Resilience.
  • Experience with Infrastructure as Code and automation tools including Terraform, Bicep, Ansible, PowerShell, and Python.
  • Knowledge of Azure DevOps, GitHub, CI/CD pipelines, and platform automation.
  • Experience with Azure Kubernetes Service (AKS) and container-based platforms.
  • Strong communication skills with the ability to engage technical teams, business stakeholders, and customer leadership.
  • Experience delivering cloud solutions within agile environments.
  • Experience with technologies such as Azure Virtual Desktop, Azure Local, Azure Sovereign Cloud, ServiceNow, Dynatrace, Datadog, Splunk, Zscaler, Palo Alto, or cloud cost optimisation tools would be advantageous.
