About the Role

Responsibilities
- Set molds/dies, startup and shut down of equipment.
- Meet all requirements/specifications by utilizing high technical ability of machine functions and understanding process orders and production drawings.
- Troubleshoot and solve problems related to production.
- Ensure training meets expectations, maintain and implement lean initiatives, and encourage process improvements.
- Perform minor maintenance, write maintenance work orders, or notify maintenance of machine issues affecting downtime, quality, and safety.
- Promote and enforce safety practices.
- Ensure all documents and critical manufacturing requirements are captured.
- Ensure all supplies are available for production associates.
- Maintain a clean and orderly workspace, including machines, tools, molds, and critical surfaces.
- Train and mentor team members in productivity, quality, safety, and Medline Core Values.
- Assist in maintaining a safe work environment through team meetings and activities.
- Communicate effectively with Branch leadership regarding daily operations.
Requirements
- HS Diploma or Equivalent
- 5 years of experience using molding equipment
- Master Molder II or equivalent
Skills
- Practical knowledge of injection molding machines
- Ability to identify and explain each part and function of the mold, machine HMI screens, and material loading vacuum systems
- Demonstrates proper mold tool use
- Ability to identify and utilize safety features of molding cell such as E-stop locations and hot runner alarms
- Experience with Arburg, Roboshot and Sepro Robot Machines
- Minitab experience
- Data Analysis with Excel
- SAP & Reliance system exposure
