About the Role

Responsible for performing general maintenance and cleaning duties, ensuring high standards of safety and sanitation for members and team members. This role involves gathering carts and flatbeds from the parking lot to ensure member access and maintaining the cleanliness and organization of all club areas.

Responsibilities

• Perform general maintenance and cleaning duties.
• Maintain high standards of safety and sanitation.
• Gather and return carts and flatbeds from the parking lot.
• Ensure carts are well-stocked and in working order.
• Return new and unused merchandise to the sales floor.
• Perform wet and dry mopping, sweeping, vacuuming, carpet extracting, washing glass, emptying trash receptacles, and pulling pallets.
• Maintain outdoor grounds, including cart corrals, sidewalks, and outdoor trash receptacles.
• Operate floor scrubber, trash compactor, and cardboard baler machines safely.
• Restock maintenance and cleaning supplies.
• Perform minor and routine building repairs.
• Adhere to all club policies and procedures.
• Perform other duties as assigned, including working in other departments as needed.
• Deliver service excellence through all points of contact.
• Resolve and deescalate to address every member concern.
• Ensure a safe and positive environment and experience for members.
• Work as a team to deliver GOLD club standards daily.
• Maintain visible accurate signage.
• Understand how to access and read production and/or financial performance reporting for your department.

Requirements

• Must successfully complete required training and certification processes.
• Prior maintenance or janitorial experience preferred, but not required.
• Prior retail/wholesale experience preferred.
• May be less than 18 years of age to perform parking lot cart functions.
• Must be over 18 to operate equipment and enter age-restricted areas.
• Regular, predictable, full attendance is an essential function of this job.

Skills

• Familiarity with AI tools, including ChatGPT, is recognized.
