About the Role

As a Senior Manager, Business Analysis at Capital One, you will apply your strategic and analytical skills to major company challenges. You will lead and team with world-class professionals to develop and test strategies that ultimately impact the bottom line. Responsibilities

  • Develop business strategies to drive growth, profitability, and competitive success.
  • Assume ownership and potential P&L accountability for a business segment.
  • Conduct strategic planning with a 1-6 month horizon.
  • Manage and develop a team of analysts, coaching and mentoring associates.
  • Develop and implement new product and pricing strategies for lending products.
  • Lead product-level modeling and analytics.
  • Lead direct-to-consumer marketing efforts and strategic intent for products.
  • Build targeted insights to inform customer experiences, technology, and go-to-market strategies.
  • Drive improvements in credit performance by analyzing consumer credit trends and creating risk models.
  • Coordinate across business lines to manage and sequence business intent delivery.
  • Build business requirements and execute product strategy.
  • Oversee multiple projects and programs concurrently.
  • Collaborate with IT, Sales, Operations, Finance, and other departments to improve quality, volume, service, and profitability.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree
  • At least 3 years of experience performing quantitative analysis
  • At least 3 years of experience performing qualitative analysis
  • At least 1 year of experience performing people management
  • At least 1 year of experience performing project management
  • Proven track record of decision making and problem solving based on analytics.
  • Strong quantitative orientation.
  • Strong business judgment, leadership, and integrity.
  • Tenacious decision maker with a healthy, aggressive, yet responsible approach.
  • Ability to build and leverage high-performing teams and business partners.
  • Foster innovation, drive critical decisions, hold business partners accountable, and deliver results.
  • Impeccable written and oral communication skills.
